Varrea North Community Development District

The Varrea North Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on April 22, 2024 by the City Commission of the City of Plant City (Hillsborough County) Florida, Ordinance No. 21-2024 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.

The Varrea North CDD encompasses an area of approximately 415.238 acres within the City of Plant City, Hillsborough County, Florida. The site is generally located north of Midway Road, east of Wilder Road North, south of Knights Griffin Road East and west of Charlie Taylor Road.

The services provided by the District are described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes.

The powers and functions of the District are described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes. The District shall have all powers and functions granted by the Act pursuant to Sections 190. 011 and 190. 012(1) and (2)(a) and (d), Florida Statutes, as amended from time to time.
